(WashingtonDC.CityRegions.Com, November 06, 2013 ) Mclean, Washington -- The team over at Haus & Garten were not content to just put out products for the sake of sales. Their Mission Statement included turning out products that were ahead of their time, easy to use, and will last a lifetime. The release of their new Barracuda Bypass Pruning Shears lives up to that goal, and is considered by industry insiders to be a second-generation set of Pruning Shears.
A careful look at The Barracuda bypass pruner shows just how much thought and inventiveness went into the design and manufacture of this garden tool. Borrowing from aircraft technology, Haus & Garten has turned out a masterpiece. Management insisted that the individual parts be made from aircraft quality materials. The result is a pair of Pruning Shears that makes Gardening once again a pleasure for both the Homeowner and the Professional.
A Survey was launched by Haus & Garten to find out what common complaints users had regarding Pruning Shears. The results were not only enlightening, but were useful in the design of The Barracuda Pruning Shears. The R&D Team at Haus & Garten were now armed with the results of the survey, and proceeded to turn-out what industry insiders acclaim as the best built Pruning Shears available on the market. This is quite a significant endorsement by those in the know.
A Haus & Garten spokesperson explained that their R&D Team assembled a list of features that must be incorporated into their new product. The Barracuda Pruning Shears would not go into production until all of the features were incorporated into the final product. The most important aspect of the tool were the cutting blades. High Tempered Carbon Steel would be used with the addition of a Patented Process to coat them with Titanium, borrowed from the Aircraft Industry. This enhanced blade-making process would ensure that the blades stay sharp longer, and resist adhesives and rust.
All of the parts that go into making a set of Barracuda bypass pruner were to be manufactured on the same machine-shop equipment that is used to make aircraft parts. This would ensure the tightest fit, and the best movements. Also on the list of product improvements over the existing "Trimmers" would be a Wire Cutting Notch so that the blades don't have to be used for such a purpose. A Sap-Groove was added in order to prevent sticking, and to channel-off Sap and Debris while making cuttings. Optimal orientation of the cutting edges were ensured by the Micrometric Adjustment System.
